What do I need to prepare for our Hen party?

To prepare for your Hen Party and personalize the experience we need some information about the hen two weeks beforehand. It is compulsory information as it is an integral part of the Hen Party programme. The required information will be sent on once the booking is made and should only take a few minutes to complete.

Do we have to dress up?

No – dressing up is completely optional but it is important to dress warmly, have a change of shoes and a rain jacket. Some hens dress in traditional country housewife clothing while some parties dress in western themes. It definitely adds to the fun and the photos!

Do we need wellies?

No – If you have them bring them along but you will require a change of shoes as you will be walking on wet grass.

Do we need wet gear?

It is important to dress appropriately for the weather. A rain jacket and suitable footwear is sufficient as your activities will be a combination of indoor and outdoor activities. Some people bring a change of clothes which is beneficial if the day is very wet.

What is the minimum group size?

The programme lasts between two and two and a half hours. All groups vary in mobility levels so estimate two and a half hours to be safe.

What if someone in the group has a disability or a phobia?

Can pregnant people participate safely?

Yes there is no problem –pregnant girls partake in all activities every week and there has never been a problem as our activities are not too strenuous!

What happens if we arrive late?

We have to start the Hen party activity programme on the scheduled time as we have other groups booked in after your group. If your group is late starting we will have to reduce the number of activities so we can finish on schedule. Aim to arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand.

Is there alcohol allowed on the farm?

All the activities are great fun and quiet energetic. For safety and insurance reasons we ask you not to bring alcohol onto the farm.
