Is the 2019 Farmyard Christmas Experience the same as 2018?

No, every year we improve our Christmas Experience on the previous year. We improve our Christmas experience by making it bigger and better while keeping the best of the previous year. For 2019 we have added a carnival ride which is included in your ticket price while also including a Balloon artist and our new character Jack Frost. To take pressure off people arriving to such a tight deadline we have opened up our play area at the start of the experience while starting the Farmyard trail 30 minutes after your start time.

How long is your Christmas Experience?

The Christmas Experience lasts between 90 minutes and one hour and twenty minutes. Families are permitted to go back to our play area after their Christmas Experience if desired or also avail of the Tea room facilities.

How do you find the Farmyard?
Are Parking facilities available at the Farmyard?

Parking facilities are provided at the Farmyard free of charge.

Are tickets for the Christmas Experience refundable?

Unfortunately tickets once purchased are non refundable. If we receive adequate advance notice we will facilitate a change of date and time.

What time do we need to arrive for the Christmas Experience?

The time of your designated time slot is printed on your ticket. If you are booked in for 2pm, you should aim to arrive at 1.45pm. To take pressure off people arriving to such a tight deadline we have opened up our play area at the start of the experience while starting the Farmyard trail 30 minutes after your start time. Our Tea rooms will be open prior to your arrival serving tea, coffee and snacks.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you arrive late and your group have commenced their facilitated experience we will endeavour to move your group to the next available timeslot. We will only be able to move your group if there are spaces available on another timeslot.

What happens if you arrive early?

If you arrive early you can avail of our tea rooms facilities until your selected time commences.

Are adults required to pay?

Due to limited space availability a cover charge applies to all people availing of the Christmas Experience. The Farmyard Experience is an ideal opportunity to avail of quality time with your child. There are mince pies and mulled wine available for all adults. The Farmyard requires at least one adult per group of children however there is no ratio of adults to children required.

Are we allowed to take our own photographs?

All customers are allowed to take their own photographs. At the Farmyard, we encourage people to take their own photographs as a trigger of the happy memories spent at the Farmyard. There will be a professional photographer on site who will take a professional photograph at an additional charge.

What is the minimum group size?

We have a maximum group size of 25 people for each group facilitated on our Christmas Experience. If your group has more than twenty five people we will book them into consecutive time slots.

What if someone in the group has a disability or a phobia?

Contact us on 0877413618 or email info@thefarmyard.ie to discuss your concerns but I cannot see it being a problem.

Are the Tea Rooms open?

Our Tea Rooms are open during the Christmas Experience for tasty treats. There is a great selection of fresh homemade sandwiches and desserts. Our Tea Rooms are renowned for its fabulous desserts, mince pies and homemade scones.
